bought the K&N CAI bout 7 months ago and didnt notice too much of a change but again it only had the heat shield on it so i made my own modification to it and here in germany there is no dust so i dont have to worry about all that stuff. the piping i used is flexible and doesnt get any kinks in it so its perfectly round the whole time except for the mouth part at the grill which i had to force into that shape but it works well

Has anyone ever thought about the oil residue left on their TB with the oil filter. I honestly prefer the afe CAI prodry drop in. I've had the afe CAI with oil filter and that thing screamed in wide open but i hate taking it out to clean and oil.

I'm running the factory CAI. I have a temp sensor in my front bumper for outside air, and I can read the intake air temp from my Scangauge, There is only 3 degrees of difference.

I have the volant w/scoop and I love it. Total sealed unit with the extra scoop and minimizes heat intake from the engine bay

FYI, the phone number may help...

Was trying to figure out the part number for my CARB sticker and found it at bottom of the install instructions. FYI here is the file from LCE in case anyone needs install details. Also a couple sections that show the belts I may reference next time I change them if I don't get lazy and take to the dealer.
