My supercharged Taco with TE37 in bronze. Thinking I should sell it and get the matte green!

Bronze on white is one of the best color combos imo.

Nope. I considered upgrading to an Army Green Tundra and was wanting color-matched wheels. With white letter out tires they'd look great.

Though I agree, it's so common (Volks or not). That matte green would look amazing, just not sure what the resale would be.

There's always going to be a wheel nerd out there wanting something that is unique and rare. I've always seemed to get the most money back on resale with selling the odd/ugly wheels rather than the simple color combos.

I have a white 4runner with matte green TE's. It's a cool look. The wheels will sell in a heartbeat when I am ready most likely.

My white set did take awhile to sell. I had a few interested parties who really wanted it but couldn't come up with the cash. It ended up selling about 3 weeks later for more than my previous ones!

Really? So I have only recently got into high end wheels (Had TE37s on my Integra but sold them with the car and my M3 had Apex wheels) so I wasn't sure how it would play out.

    Any pictures of setup?

    Sex!!!

Do you think it was really a cash issue or interest?

Imo, it's a mixture of both. Yes, people do want te's, but they aren't as common as say any other wheel that's ran on a tacoma.
I did have some offers on these whites, but I personally wanted my asking due to the it being less common. Ultimately, I believe someone has to really want the white set to go for it. The individual who purchased mine did truly want it and felt it would match up perfectly with what he was going to do.

I think most people don't think its worth putting out $2400 plus on a set of wheels without tires when you can get something like Ray10 wheels and tires for $2000.

Really tempted to go after the matte green ones on ICB's website... Anyone want some bronze TE37s?

I think people who have owned wheels that cost 2500 or more for a set knows that you gotta pay to play. I think most of us knows what exactly we are paying for when comes to quality and brand of wheels that cost that much. It just comes down to $$$ and willing to spend it + being financially responsible.
Anyways keep on posting pics so I can drool..lol

Back when I had quite a few more sets of wheels for my M3, I sold a set of OZ Cygnus wheels for a fairly absurd bit of money based on their rarity. The lips and barrels were useless and the faces were stripped down, but the rarity level sold them nearly instantly. I guess the car community is a bit different than the truck community though.
