Well I guess you can tell I’m a little younger then.

I’d like a Ferrari or lambo but being realistic I doubt I’ll get one of those in my lifetime.

Hope we can get them by the end of June though, maybe.

I like pleasant surprises. I don't check tracking anymore, I am happy when I get the package.

A couple months from now, out of the blue you are going to get a notification and it's going to say: "your wheels are here!" and you are going to be overjoyed

That's what I am looking forward to.

The guy selling these wheels is starting to sound like the Nigerian Prince who just needs you to send him $100 so he can then send you $$$$millions.

He's even willing to expand the list of 25 to 50.

Chuck is legit, he has a physical shop/retail location 30 mins from where I live LMAO

The fine folks at VOLK/RAYS are making the best wheel possible in that size and design, in terms of strength and weight. It's going to be gloriously epic.

My post was mostly just sarcastic asshole shit.

I love the wheels and if I could afford them, I'd probably get a set.

I had my own Nigerian price doubt right before I ordered them. But I checked the website and google and Facebook and told myself I hope it’s legit and dived in head first.

I told myself the couple month wait isnt that bad, considering it took me a couple years to actually pull the trigger on my first set of te’s lol

The wait is worth it considering its a “special” wheel that very few will have. Plus the quality of them and best looking finishes

I’m going to be so mad the first scratch on them. But after that it’s fair game.

I waited 10 months for my 2015 TRD pro and that doesn't count the few more that I went to 4 to 6 dealer to try to order it. The salesmen either have no clue of what I am talking about or try to sell me something else.

    I have patience:thumbsup:

besides the obvious size difference, what's the main difference between this set of TEs and the TE37x progressive model?

TE37X is only offered in 16" and TEs are offered in 18", 20", and 22"
TE37SB is the first 17" option. As you know with 17" there are more tire options.
Also the 17" is plus for 5th gen 4Runner guys.

My understanding of the wheels and differences in the TE37 models:

    TE37SB
    https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/products/wheel.php?lang=en&wheel=TE37SB
This was the original concept at the time because they came in 17" already
This is the basis of the project
The design was abandoned in favor of the Large PCD design for strength and durability
    Details of the SB:
    Vehicle with SB:

    TE37x
    https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/products/wheel.php?lang=en&wheel=TE37X-PRO
These wheels are a flat face design
Many people have these in 16"
The spokes are flat, there is no curves on the face of the wheel
    [IMG]

    TE37 Large PCD
    https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/products/wheel.php?lang=en&wheel=TE37LPCD-PRO
I believe this is the design chosen for the 17 x 8.5" -10 wheel being made
I personally like this look better
    Details of the Large PCD:
    Vehicle with Large PCD:

I think the Large PCD looks better than the SB, so I am happy how this turned out. RAYS/VOLK really had our best interests in mind and grateful to Chuck make it possible.

Great info. I am happy as well with the final design choice, I think it’s the best out of the 3.
