Luckyyyy, I was actually in Japan about 2 months ago. Shoulda put my deposit directly at Rays lol

 

That’s why I’m telling you to see if you wanna buy me out lol! I wheel too much and don’t wanna ruin some nice wheels lol!

 

& I don't wheel enough as I would like too. hhaha. I really want to see pics of the of the final product first. Keep me on top of your list though. I'm definitely interested.

Almost new year guys

 

Volks are GREAT wheels... I just don't see them being truck wheels though. I have seen Volks on Subaru STis, Hondas Civics, Acura Integras, Nissan Skylines and 350zs... now on Toyota Tacomas and 4rs they just look out of place on the truck and 4r.

Maybe it is cause I am just too used to seeing them on import racers I dunno...

 

If they can hold weight, which I’m sur is no issue, and shed damn near 10#’s per wheel I’m thinking about dropping that cash. It’s a LOT of cash for wheels... but driveability with 57# mud tires, 28# wheels, and a 4 popper is less than ideal.

With these (alleged 18#’s per) and new all terrains (50#’s per) shedding 17 on each corner would make my truck feel like a Miata. Always wanted some bronze wheels as well.

 

If anyone backs out, I will gladly take the spot or be last in line if possible. Thanks

Absolutely, I am in NO WAY knocking Volks, they are far and away my favorite tuner wheel out there. Their high strength and low weight is amazing!

What I was saying is I would absolutely go with them on a WRX/STi, Type R Civic, Acura Integra, or EVO but probably not on my Taco, that's all. They just don't strike me as a truck rim.
For all those who get them, to you, they are absolutely amazing wheels!

 

I will DEFINITELY take your spot if it’s possible to change the order to 4x bronze.

 

I would definitely be interested in a gloss black or matte black if possible.

 

You could but it might be a little bit of a wait. The first round still won’t be out till maybe July.

I thought I read earlier in the thread that the first batch was coming in on March 2019. Who knows now lol

 

Well the first set is shipped to Chuck in March then the rest will be filled in June. I thought it was July, but who knows at this point I wouldn’t be surprised.

 

I would like to get in for a set of 4-5 bronze.If someone wants to sell their spot or this opens back up please let me know. Thanks
