Why? Your stock battery (non AGM) can't utilize that product.

Yeah, voltage boosters are used to bump up the voltage of the alternator to meet AGM charging standards which doesn’t match that of a standard battery and will shorten its life.

It had to be an AGM to use that product . Am I gonna ruin my stock battery using the booster?

The guy told me (Costco) not needed AGM on this side of town ( NorCal). CCA (5) lower than the stock.

Ca has a lot of different climates. I’m in the North bay and over 4 years with an O’Reily’s stock size battery(ordinary SLA). It a slight upgrade from the shit battery the dealer installed when I bought it used which only lasted 3 years but we’ll see how much longer it lasts. I’m waiting to see if there is any voltage change when it starts to Peter out.

Look up the charging voltage specs for the AGM battery and realize it's better to have knowledge than ask the guy at Costco.
