These aren't like Ferraris, you don't need to own one for them to let you order one. ;)

It was a pretty simple process.
I put in an inquiry through American Express because they have a vehicle purchase program where they have dealers who will take Amex for your down payment. Anyway, all the local dealers called me and I went to the one closest to my house. I sat down with the sales manager and built a TRD Pro like I wanted it. I signed the order and they said they’d call me every couple of weeks with an update of where my truck is in the manufacturing process.

Amex has failed me for not letting me know about this! That's awesome, thanks for the info.

I found it when I was digging around through the member benefits. They have all kinds of stuff I didn’t know about.

My dealer asked if we wanted to do that on a credit card and I was like fuck yeah and they said great it's only a 8.9% additional fee. Wtf

My dealer allows up to $3k on a credit card for down payment. Anything beyond that amount there’s a fee. I want my points!

I put $4k on mine for the down payment and I didn't get charged a fee. I wanted the point too. I guess I got lucky on the fee :D

Took delivery yesterday night! I didn't think the two blues would look so different until I saw them in person. Electric blue looks good, but Voodoo is even better.

your 2nd gen prolly has nearly a decade of sun fading on the paint tho, but still, that flat royal blue looks sick. if I were in the market for another tacoma right now id get that for sure. congrats.

This reminds me of the Inferno color in that you either love it or you hate it and God damn it's absolutely stunning.

The picture is pretty shitty, not the best lightning conditions lol. People thought the truck had 100-150k km because of how good it looked, it actually had 218k. I tried to sell it but no one would offer me more than the dealer did because of the high mileage.

You're dealership should be brought up on rape charges with that mark up. Not to mention all the over priced after market BS that you're FORCED to buy that they are getting double and tripple for if you went elsewhere. $499 for tint :eek:. Come on really?

Did you use vinyl? If so what color/brand is that it looks like a good match to the truck color!
