I have 2017 sport and I am looking to get some more power out of the motor it just feels a little sluggish. The dealer showed me there is a Etc button, kind of like a mini-turbo it helps give it some juice but I want to put bigger tires and wheels on it with a lift but I think the engine needs more pep to push some big tires and wheels.

I notice pulling my utility trailer it really works to pull just about 3,000lbs with my tools and roofing equipment back there.

Does anyone know when they will have a turbo or tune chip for this engine?

Would a K&N or exhaust do much to improve the power? I appreciate it thank you for advice in advanced!

I hope this truck is as good as my chevy was I never had a problem with it in 8 hard years of use.

Also if available would you rather a Tune Chip or a Turbo? Which is better for the truck? Would it void the warranty?

    Frankie

Well to be honest with you I did tell the dealer it felt a little slow and that's why at first I thought maybe he was trying to sell me a 4cylinder so he showed me the etc button. I was suprise when he told me it was the 6cylinder, but he said after she breaks in it should really get better gas mileage and open up. He said it takes these trucks about 10,000 mile to break in. So I will wait and see but I would rather just have more power now lol

I agree Frankie I wish these trucks had better low end Torque/throttle response but I do not think you're going to be happy if you didn't like it on the test drive. Definitely would not put 20" wheels and bigger tires on it

Go big or go home. Swap the motor with a Ford 7.3L Powerstroke. I'm sure it'll fit
