Check this for the plug, possibly for other parts. Enter your vin to search for parts instead of year make and model

So another question did you "clear the zero point" and then do "zero point calibration"

same happened with mine when installing lift. the abs wire where it clips on to the upper control arm got stretched and lost contact. i took it to the dealer, they spliced and reconnected where it had been damaged and i was on my way. quick and easy fix..

yes i did step 4 where you turn the ignition on and then put the paper clips in the two slots 4 + times in 8 seconds but the warning light didn't blink

how much did it roughly cost for them to do this. my truck has the extended warranty but ik lift and tires tend to void warranties

You gotta make sure the paper clips are all they way in. I found it helpful to use 2 paper clips. I'm trying to think about what I did and I don't think I could get it to blink with the 4x in 8 seconds. I did it as many times as I could in 8 seconds without dislodging the paper clips. Then I left them separated when recalibrating, still using 2 separate paper clips, held them together for recalibrating

Sounds funny but if iirc the top of my head was pointing toward the brake and gas pedal on that leaves you looking at the obd2 port the same way as the diagram in the instructions. Triple check you're in the right spots on the port ( use the slants or longer/shorter side or small square indents in the top right and left corner to indentify correct position). Now because you're using 2 paper clips, get out of the wheel well and I kinda leaned lightly against the door sill/jamb so I could watch the gauge cluster and touch the paper clips together at the same time

ok ill re try that again and if not ill brain storm and think of something tomorrow and if not then ill just start to save some money on the side and call the dealership up and see if they can just "look" at it and give me an estimate

I'll tell you what give it a couple solid tries tonight and if you can't I'll pm you my number and maybe we can do a step by step thing. When I did this I called I believe 3 or 4 dealerships and one knew what I was talking about and 3 didn't. One of the dealerships actually asked me for a copy of it. But the cheapest I was quoted was 65 bucks. I'm tellin ya I didn't give up that easily neither should you. Let me know what happens tonight and be thorough bud!

You have to take into consideration that again iirc with the vsc being jacked up (out of calibration) it might affect driveability

I've heard this too. I drove around for about a week and a half before taking it in to get fixed. Nothing happened, but it's always good to be safe.
