Lifted 3 inches with 285's and the VSC went off on me yesterday for the first time, thought somebody had a lock on me with the chimes going off. I came home and did the jumper wire calibration and all seems well so far.

jumper wire "Calibration"? I think not. Just bring it in and have them reset it so it works as intended.

Why not? There is a procedure for it. Its called the Zero point calibration of yaw sensors and deceration sensor (for using a SST check wire) I followed the directions and got the indications I was suppose to get per the instructions. Are you telling me the instructions are inaccurate?

I would assume that Teamfast doesn't realize it is a legitimate procedure . If you were unfamiliar with it , it may sound a bit DIY .

Yup, sorry this is really "one of" the ways you can do it and not have to leave a jumper in there? I understood that you required to leave it in, sounded silly to me.

You only leavethe jumper wire in on the second part of the procedure until you get the indication. Ten you turn the key off and remove it. Haven't had any problems the past three or four days since I did this.

The recalibration takes about 10 minutes once it's in the shop bay

They hook up the comp and reset the yaw profiles and the 4 sets of sensors back to 0. Similar to a tare on a scale

    Too few to list.
Anyone know what the going rate on this reset from the dealer?
Some say it's the Yaw sensor, some say it's with the wheel sensor/tire size and yaw sensor combined. Who knows? I've had an '09 on stock wheels/tires with the same lift as my '11 with no issues. My 11 didn't have issues until I changed the wheel/tire size. Both were tested on mountain twisties with lift and stock tires. As soon as tires/wheels were changed, the vsc kicks in on about 30+mph turns and that's only going with with the next size up (265/70/17). Btw, alignment was done after each lift and also after wheels/tires change. I did the calibration with the wire and probably have a 25% improvement.
