I haven't been able to find anything similar in the forums besides people having the vsc light stuck on. I did the zero point calibration a few times now, but the vsc light is flickering on me when cornering above 35mph. I've been having this issue for quite some time and cannot for the life of me figure it out. New suspension, new uca, ball joints, tie rods, steering rack, wheel bearings, i pretty much have rebuilt the whole front end and Multiple alignments. I'm not sure if there could be a bad sensor but my scanner doesn't have any codes. So I'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem and has solved it. Currently just drive around with traction control off.

I assume you mean the VSC activation light. If you've properly done the reset you probably have a sensing issue. Codes are thrown when the system recognizes a sensor failure but not necessarily an erroneous sensor output.

If it was me I'd hook up and live view/log with Techstream and watch to see if all wheel speeds, accels, steering angle, and yaw rate signals make sense (especially when you know the vsc intervenes). I'd venture to guess a wheel speed or steering angle signal is most likely the culprit.

When I did the zero point yesterday it was saying steering angle was off, which im guessing could have been from my alignment or when I did my steering rack maybe i didn't have it completely centered when I hooked the intermediate shaft back up. My buddy just said the same thing you did about checking it out with the live view to see. It just baffles me cause it started towards the end of my last suspension kit and it seems to happen a lot when I first get in and start driving then once warm it's not as frequent. Wouldn't be a huge deal but it messes with the throttle response since it's acting like it's losing traction. Thanks for the input I appreciate it.

I would second the sensors, I had an issue like that on my 3rd gen 4Runner. In my case, the VSC would trip after a car wash or heavy rain. I could reset and it would be fine until the next wet event. A wheel speed sensor for me. Maybe there was a minor bit of damage to one during install of those parts.

    35mph? How tight a corner?
    Checked for damaged wire/sensors?

    High offset wheels?

I'm starting to lean towards a bad sensor myself, just trying to avoid the cost on replacing, the dam things are stupid expensive for what it is.
Wheel offset is -10 and has been doing it before I replaced all those parts. No abs light on just the occasional flicker of vsc, tight corners forget it can't even do 25 without it going off but it goes off in corners that aren't even that bad. I'm going to give the live view a try tomorrow when I'm back at the garage.

    You didn't mention. Tire size?

285 70 R17...been running that size for 4yrs now and this annoyance has only been maybe the last year. Before I ever changed all the front end components. Started right before I changed my ironman lift out to radflo. Thought about putting the sway bar back in to see if sensors think the body roll is the truck losing traction, but even that's been off the truck way before this all started

Yea those tires aren't enough to be this kind of problem. Investigate those wheel speeds first, could be sensor, could be mounting, could be wiring, etc.
