VSC light steady on after alignment

    This is another common way a steering angle sensor zero point code arises from an alignment and likely what happened in this case. It actually only needs to be driven over 25 mph for 10 seconds.

    This is somewhat related. A year ago my daughter's curbed the right front really bad in her Yaris. I bought a new wheel, threw on a new LCA and outer tie-rod.

    Took it to Tire Discounters to move the tire to the new rim and align it. After the alignment the TC/VSC light popped on. The tech connected to the OBD port and calibrated/reset it. No issue since then.

    So sometimes aggressive alignment corrections can do funny things
