    Any idea if the part out of a 96 4Runner 2.7 would work? Found one at the junk yard with 53k on it but was totaled from behind.

    So I don’t know if the numbers match because I’m at my cabin and my truck is 2 hours south in the city. But went to the Upull salvage yard here and paid $13 for the whole canister and a few other parts.

    I noticed right away it was making the same sound! But the battery was out too?
    So like you had said I removed the gas cap and it stopped.
    Figured I’d buy it any way.
