So, I have SASed my 14 tacoma. Everything works, no check engine lights or anything. BUT I can't seem to find any info or anyone that has gotten the speedometer and OBD to work on a late 2nd gen with the canbus system. I have tried everything, #6 wire (red/yellow) on the combination meter, disconnected the abs ecu ect. I have the VSS installed on the transfer case with a 30 tooth. Wiring has been verified and voltage tested so I know the sensor is operating correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have no way of tracking millage and that bothers me more than my speed.

You would if the tacoma is an 05-08 ish. The newer 2nd gens use a totally diffrent system (canbus) to read the speed. I would love to see the pin out or any info on mother board of the combination meter to wire direct to the speedo. I feel that is the only way to get the speedo to work on the newer 2nd gens. I know some people got it to work on 3rd gens but I am unsure of how they did it. I dont want to use speed sensors. I'd like to get my vss out of my t case to work
