I submitted my docs on October 26th (reg, license and bank release). All docs were accepted today so it would appear that VW is on a 20 day turn around. Now I need to wait for eligibility to be approved. F VW.

My new Taco is sitting on the dealer lot waiting for this turn in

My " 10th day of 10 business days" for my final offer was 6 business days ago. Also, calling the hotline is useless as they don't know what the hell is going on.

Man, I loved my 6MT JSW wagon... it was the ragged out dog / hunting mobile that served it's purpose really well while getting 40mpg. I was planning to throw on some Tiguan struts / springs for a lift, build some skids, and get a trailer to really complete the package. But when I thought about it more, it still would have been a FWD with an open diff. The Tacoma just fit my needs way better and offered a plethora of aftermarket options as well.

I tried really hard to like the new Alltrack, but it was pretty blahhh when I drove it. If they threw in the 2.0T and let you tow 2,000lbs, it may have been a different story...

Subaru wants all the ex VW owners who came to their sense.

Nice to see some have been migrating to TW instead

Good luck on the new Tacoma.

Yes, only has to be able to drive under its own power. Works out great for me. The a/c went out in my wife's 2010 Jetta this summer (in Texas), and VW quoted $1,750 for new compressor and labor; also needs new tires.... so no price deductions for that, which is awesome!
As we have a 3rd vehicle we just parked it in the garage, and have drove it a few mile every few weeks, just to keep it going.... works out really well, b/c if you do the calculations in the Exhibits of the final court case, we've been getting something like 1,100 - 1,200 miles a month (can't remember exact figure) since last September to current, that VW is spotting the affected vehicles. So that's just that many more miles I'm getting to deduct for the "adjusted mileage" that they base your buyback price on, while not putting any new miles on it.

Yeah, I'm tempted to go through a strip it for some parts too. Just put in a new Kenwood radio last year. Might as well take your parts if you want them, as the court case also states that they can not re-sale the vehicles in the US or abroad, they have to compact them or use them for parts.

I called a while back, and every time something is submitted, be it the paper work, or buy back contract, etc. It all goes through a 3rd party for review and then comes back to VW, who then sends it back to you. I have 2 business days left before I'm supposed to be getting my offer to get notarized, etc.... then, that gets uploaded and submitted, and then 10 more business days before I can setup a buy back dates, etc.

Your SUPPOSE to get it within 2 more days, just like I should've got mine 6 days ago according to what the online portal says after my documents were approved.

I have a TRD OR, A4 and B7 Passat TDI SEL. Just sent paperwork in for the buyback. Read that audi flashed the 8speed autos in their cars to have a emissions cheat too. ooops.

Paid 26OTD for mine in 13. Has 90K on it now. VW is paying me 21600 which levels out to 166/mo to drive it. My gf drives it daily. I gave it to her with 36K 2 years ago. Its got 90 now. the car has more than paid for itself with her work commute getting 45-55mpg highway.

right before I gave it to her.

Still waiting for mine. VW sure knows how to prevent return buyers. I'm thinking the passenger seat from my wife's Beetle would make a great office/desk chair.

All that was taken off before I gave her the car, no way she's driving a car that could air out with her commute and problem managing skills.
