    No the Passat, Touareg, and the Phaeton are RWD.

    They are not based on the current MkV platform. They are based on the B6 platform.

    Had tons on the Taco's.... new truck is pretty stock
    hmm. looks interesting. it looks like a good first attempt at a pickup, much better than the Ridgeline. wonder if it'll come in a diesel powered form?

    Not anymore... The VW Taro (Rebadged Toyota Hilux) was only made from 1984 to 1996. The closest thing that VW has to a truck now is the VW Caddy (front wheel drive) that is not nearly as capable.

    The Passats and Phaetons are made in Germany. That's why they kick ass. (Although they are just rebadged Audi's...or vice versa.
