Is it having the camera on too long, or the phone on to long?

welcome to the early adopters club. every phone i have had that i bought on day one with a brand new version of the OS has had these kind of issues. Just relax as the developers catch up to ICS.

Its not a rom. Clockwork Mod is a recovery console that replaces the original and allows you to do a lot more from recovery mode.

I have the car dock coming too, but I think I am going to return it as well.

One other poster mentioned it and it's true, the orientation sensors are slow as hell. It sometimes takes 4 seconds for it to go from portrait to landscape.

Battery is not that good either. With moderate use I'm getting about 12 hours.

Wow, 4G here in West Palm Beach is terrible. I'm not even getting half that.

Has anyone had problems with 4g lately? I lost my 4g signal 3 hours ago all of a sudden and have been using 3g ever since with periods of no data signal. I went 45 minutes without a signal. What the fuck VZW. I want my 4g

I think it might be an overload issue. I remember when blackberry service went down because too many new blackberries were being activated at once

how does installling clockwork recovery make your battery life better since you would still be running on the factory rom?

Don't you have to flash a custom from for clockwork to work?

it doesnt help battery life you are still running stock firmware the only way you will improve battery life is when you are running a custom rom with a altered kernal

    You will need:
    1. unlocked bootloader
    2. Rooted phone
    3. clockwork revcovery
    4. backup
    5. custom rom if wanted

all clockwork does is allow you to boot into recovery and create backups, flash roms, add on's, etc...other wise you would be stuck with odin for firmware if you brick your device

You probably wouldn't want to remove it anyway. The recommended method is to root it and freeze the app with Titanium Pro so it doesn't start. That way, if the manufacturer puts out an update, you can unfreeze them and let it update. Removing the apps has been known to screw up phones after an update.

if you are rooted you shouldnt install the OTA updates anyway, main reason to root is to remove bloat, custom kernals, and wifi tether.

other wise you should just leave the phone as is.
