Removed the running boards, still need to trim the plastic pieces to add back on so it doesn’t look like it’s missing pieces.

Took it out and flexed it a little bit. Need to chop the cab mount more and hammer down the pinchwelds.

Thanks! Yeah they are. I am loving them, better than 33’s and I am glad I didn’t go with 35’s. Perfect size for these things without regearing.

They get even better with 4.10's or 4.56.

I bet, but still performs better with 285/75r17’s than my 2nd gen taco did with 285/75r16’s

I bet! I did 4.10 since i had an elocker rear that "bolted in" for $50 for a new pinion flange. I just had to regear and bearings in the front diff.

Gears and locker aren’t high up on my list right now. Just heard from Erick at state48overland that my Demello front bumper should be here beginning of July. Then I will finally be able to install the superwinch and KC G4 fog lights that have been sitting in my garage. I think next up is building a drawer system for the back and then a roof rack for all that EAF gear that I will need to haul around.

That’s where I’m at with my GX. Not trying to regear or do anything crazy. With it being my current and only daily driver, I’m trying to “skim the surface” in terms of extra mods without sacrificing too heavily in loss of performance and drivability.

Those AT3 XLTs look good. I'm debating on 285/70 vs 285/75 on my GX. I have a Tacoma that's heavily modified and I don't want to go in that direction with the GX, yet. The price and weight difference between the two is negligible. So tempting, but I don't have a lift yet either.

I am loving the AT3 XLT tires. I have the LT version on my sequoia and they are great as well. Hurry up and get a lift and go with 285/75 you won’t be disappointed.

I plan on keeping the factory bumpers as well. Is significant flattening of the punch weld required?

I have been driving it without flattening the pinch welds. Tires do rub on the fender liner and I am planning on flattening the pinch welds.

    16s or 17s?
If 16s, why not 295/75s? I have those in the at3xlt on my first gen tundra and I love em.
