All, I just recently had to take my camper to get some work done and since I had not yet towed it with my Tacoma, my hitch was not properly set up.

I had the techs at the RV dealership help me out, but I’m a bit skeptical to their solution. My hitch is the friction type with the bars that ride in a “cradle” to help with trailer sway as well as weight distribution.

Anywho, tension on the bars is adjusted by changing the angle of the head of the hitch. The techs just basically adjusted the head all the way down for maximum tension. Now the trailer sits slightly nose high and the truck does not squat very much.

Driving it home, it actually felt much better. I guess my question is should I try and maybe adjust it in between where it is now and where it was? Or should I just roll with it and let it go?

You don't want the trailer nose high. I'd pull up the factory instructions and adjust if it were my trailer.
