In the process of tearing apart and rebuilding my 5 speed manual transmission I forked up the PITA snap rings.... does anyone have extra? Or know of a resource I could buy them from?

That's just a stock photo of one I pulled from the internet

IIRC, some of these are select fit meaning that they are different thickness.

.... that's probably what the FSM is referencing with the chart that says by mark (1-7) on one side and the other column calling out thicknesses :annoyed:

I appreciate it, just a major bummer cause I had hoped this would be a 3 day project (with only a few hrs after work each day to spend on it) and now it's turning into a multi week project lol

do you have any of the Toyota part numbers... I have ordered some things and they are here within 24 hrs... This would be a perfect fit for an Amazon drone, 10 little snap rings.

I don't have any of the part numbers ... I've tried using toyotas online parts catalog but I only have a phone to scroll the internet and the layout gives me a headache

Looks like I have to try harder now.

You're right though! An Amazon drone would be perfect for this instance

not knowing if this is for your 98 4X4 were are talking about... I looked up for a 96 4X4 and they are only a couple of $ each, but there is good news... lots of these snap rings fit many years and multiple vehicles so the chance of a dealer having yours could be pretty good.
