I'm good Carlos. Thanks for asking. :D Matt is right... 2WD. I love offroading. I wish at times I was 4WD (not Doug) but I'm completely happy with what I've got.

    Hi Matt.

I've had this lower Grillcraft sitting in my garage for almost two years. I finally mustarded up the strength to install it today. I think it looks great.

You got a nice clean ride there. It has gone through many transformations.

I have a couple of questions for?
Where did you get the 2nd skid plate?
Where did you get your LED lights for your plates and interior light?
    eh

    Thank you for the compliment.

I got the lights from a member here on TW by the screen name CSJumper / Chris.
The second skid plate came off another tacoma (4X4 Model). I have a PreRunner. It fits perfect.

:D Well, thank you. As you might know... it's been 6 years in the making. As things wear out and need replacing, I'll make upgrades. For now, it's sitting as it stands.

The WeatherTech window visors are they worth getting?
When driving on the fwy, and I roll my window down, does it stay quieter?

Let me know and thank you

I love driving with the windows down. I wouldn't say it makes it quieter. They work great for some controlled air flow in the truck if you don't want to blow your chicks hair every where.

I didn't know that there were off roading opportunities near Otay Lakes. I've always been hesitant to go because of border patrol and local pd. Care to share where some trails are at? I'm in National city so hello neighbor.

Truck looks great. I have a Silver Streak double cab as well.

so far just anti-theft tail gait, USA TRUCK COVER,
thanks for the build...it helped alot and i got a usa truck cover installed the other day as well here in SD.

question: did you add any side bed tie downs since the track is used up by the cover now? i was wondering what to do about that.

Hey neighbor, sorry I didn't reply earlier. I didn't see you post man. Otay Truck trail is a simple fire road up to the top of the mountain between Otay Lakes road and the 905. It's very simple but an enjoyable ride. Off the 905 near between the toll rd 125 and Alta rd are some spots one could go to for a little fun, otherwise there are some more trails east that are near the Otay truck trail. I've ran into the Border Patrol every time. They've never given me a hard time. No citations either. As far as rangers or police, I've heard of others getting tickets but noting on my end. I think it just depends what you get caught doing.

The cover I had rested on top which allowed me to use the cleats still. However, the truck USA cover (the roll-in box hard cover style) doesn't allow you to use the bed cleats. On my friends Taco that had one on it, we simply added additional D-Rings to help secure any loads down.

Got some new tires today. Cooper Discoverer ATP tires for $850 OTD. This included installation and a road hazard warranty. Super quiet too. NICE!

Looking good as always Al, I was looking at those tires the other day when I was in discount tire. How many miles did you get out of the duratracs?

A little under what they claimed I should have gotten on them. I put 41,000 miles on the Duratracs.
