You're not going to bang your head unless you decide to crawl into a side passage on your hands and knees. It only gets "tight" in one section, and you just bend over a bit through there. A handheld light and a headlamp is all you need.

I never felt the need for a helmet, but I'm not the type to typically bang it into things. Most of the tougher section (upper), the ceiling is going to be well above you.

I’ll come find you guys on Sunday 8/1. @Tacodog if your down for some more trip after the WABDR we can come back through Bolder Cr to Winthrop and run up Hearts Pass. I’m planning on coming back through Bolder Creek anyways. We would back track a little on the last section of the WABDR then cut over to Winthrop through some pretty amazing county. 51A604EE-077A-471C-A153-3A6B73B65456.jpg

Probably, I figured out why we couldn’t get yours to work like mine. I had to order a new one after the boy dropped one in the Cascade river out coon hunting last winter. That one came locked out of being able to manually punch in the numbers from the factory. It’s in the memory settings. I’m going to order a https://baofengtech.com/product-category/mobile/ next week and get it in before the trip.

I'll commit to 31-5 and maybe the extra days as well if that happens. Hart's Pass looks awesome!

I took my truck up Hart's Pass last summer with the stock highway tires, woke up from camping overnight to a flat at 6 am. Trying to get the spare on wayyyy up high away from town was a pain. Upgraded to the KO2's shortly after
