I have had dealer trades done to get cars within the county. I have purchased out of state a new COrvette and had it drop shipped to a local dealer by rail. This concept of waiting 4 months is beyond ridiculous. 2 weeks is the most you will have to wait no matter what.

What are the options you want specifically?

Yes they are dealer trading to get it thats why I had to pay invoice price. He was offering 750 below invoice for what was on the lot but I didnt want brown. He said it wouldnt make sense for them to dealer trade a vehicle below invoice which I could understand. So 750 more got me the truck I wanted to include the tow package which the first one did not have. Of course this is all just theory he said it will be here sunday or monday so we will see. I am still skeptical but trying to remain positive haha.

Here is what is supposed to show up.

I see no reason for you to stoop to a Yamaha clone just cuz you were not happy with a dealer and doubt it was over $5...

Did the dealer make you put a deposit down to get the truck? Most dealers won't pull a trade unless they have a buyer lined up. With that in mind, I find it hard to believe that the dealer would sell the truck out from under you if they lined up a trade for it??

Yes on the deposit. I put down $500.00 Once the truck is delevered I have 24 hours to complete the sale. If I decide I don't want it my $500 will be refunded and they will sell the truck.

The salesman said it would be here Monday but said its possible they would get it today.

Not sure everyone's offroad expereince or how you use your Tacoma, this may be a question for another thread, BUT, for those of you with the offroad package have you since upgraded suspension wheels and tires?

Your truck sounds exactly like mine minus the JBL, color and everything else is identical. I put in my own stereo instead.

My choice for tires and suspension (next on purchase list for my 2010 )

King extended travel coil overs set to 2.5"
    King remote resivoir rear shocks
    Deaver rear springs 1.5" lift
    Total Chaos Upper control arms

    Nitto Trail Grappler MT 295/70R17
    17"x9" Rims 4.5" backspace

Thats a 33.5" x 12.0" tire. I will require some trimming and a cab mount chop to get it to fit. I will need 4.10 gears to get my RPMS exactly back to stock. These can only be found by getting them out of 4 banger Tacomas. You have to go 4.56 gears aftermarket.

Do the math. 29.5" stock tire with 3.73 gears vs 33.5" tire and 4.10 gears. Essentially the exact same.

That sounds like a set-up I would be interested in looking at. I don't want to have to do any trimming though but I assume an extra .5'' on the lift would take care of that?
