265/70R-16 is safely run on an 8-inch wide wheel so as mentioned above, you're good to go.

Just bear in mind that the 16x8 will sit further out towards the fender compared to stock. Which offset do you have your eye on, the -10 or 0?

I joined the club and got myself these wheels!
Ido have a question for those that current have the wheels on their tacos.
As I am upgrading my truck with gears, gussests, and everything else I noticed that the wheels do not fit flush or mount on the actual hub it self.
At first I thought it was rust so I wire brushed my hubs and they fit perfectly on my OEM wheel 16.
Then I tired the level 8 wheels and there is a gap on all 4 wheels...probably a couple millimeters.
After looking at everything the Toyota hubs have two machined lip, including the rear axle.*Edit, the rear axle does not have the same machined lip as the front hubs.
Seems like the wheels are only machined to fit the first section of the hubs ( at least mine).
So I was wondering if a couple of people could take pictures of their wheels from the inside to check if it's fully seated to your hub
    Wheels spec
    17x8 w/ -10 offset.
    I've attached some pictures.
First two pictures are with the OEM wheel.
Third pictures are level 8 wheels.
    Last one is the hub.
    Thanks guys.

Edit* I forgot the rotor! Sorry!
Discount Tire is awesome and has been very helpful. The customer service and my local shop are top notch!

    Wheels: 17 x 8 w -10 offset
Tire: Atturo trail blsde XT, 285
    /70r17
Lift: Bilstein 6112 on 4th clip with upgrade B12 coils.
After trimming the plastics I rub a tiny bit while driving normally but I'm sure I will rub more once offroading.

Thank you for sharing this @flying_waitacoma and our apologies in advance for the situation. This is the first issue we've seen with the wheels clearing the hub.

We'd like to help - reply to your PM right now

    Welcome to the site, @Ojala44

There are no deals running on the MK6 right now, but as always we guarantee the lowest out the door price!

On a side note, we may be running a 4th of July promotion later this month. If that happens, we'll be sure to post up the details

This could also be due to you checking the wheel with the hub and not the hub with the rotor. The rotor fits on the lip closest to the hub(the raised lip)

    My apologies for the confusion!

Level 8 has a wave of 17-inch MK6 wheels coming in. What width, offset, and finish are you after? I'm happy to check on an ETA for you.

I just checked the ETA for the Level 8 MK6 17x8 6-139.7 -10 in Matte Black, the next shipment is due the end of July at this time.

Please let us know if there is another wheel that would work.

Anybody running 285/75r16 with these on a 3rd Gen?

I've currently got 265/75r16 Cooper ST MAXXs but want to go up a size. I'm still trying to decide on a suspension setup to clear and prevent any rubbing. Would love to not CMC if possible.. seems that several people on here have been successful in doing so.
