Wait, the Level 8 MK6 IS BACK?!?!

So, I'm almost ready for a set of tires and wanting to upgrade my wheelset also. Any chance of some kind of TW discount? These wheels have been giving me wood for like 2 years now and I want to seal the deal- If you know what I mean- LoL!

 

Shout outs after buying, lol. Free shipping on their products is enough of a discount for me lol that's 130lbs of rubber shipped free, and 80 pounds of wheels LOL

 

@Discount Tire Direct Do you know if these will be restocked again or if they're being discontinued? One of the sales reps at dtd said he didn't know if another order would be placed or not. I'm looking for 16x8 -10 gunmetal, but they seem to be sold out everywhere. It looks like there's a small amount of 17s available, but I'd rather wait a little bit if there's a chance at getting a set of 16s.

 

They said this when I ordered also. DTD does not have them in stock at their warehouse but the MFG does. Mine were drop shipped from Level 8 in California, had them with in 4 business days. I would say go ahead and order.

@Discount Tire Direct . Wanting to pick up these wheels in gunmetal 16's. I'm am too wondering if you'll be restocking them.

 

As of right now the 16" MK6 in the gunmetal flavor is on back order with no firm ETA. When they become available again we'll be sure to post up but best case scenario is replacement inventory arrives in 90 days.

Who hooo! Decided to drop in my local Discount Tire and start talking to the counter guy. I really wasn’t set on getting the wheels and tires this week but, i got a deal i couldn’t pass up. After the dude spent like 15 mins on the phone looking for the 16x8’s with -10 in gunmetal to no avail, they finally let me know there were none to be had. So he informed me they did have them in bronze. I had bee on the fence with the bronze MK6 for a while and after i got the quote, i said okay. Placed the order and got the call the next day letting me know my wheels are in the shop! Anyway, i am totally happy with the way they came out! Discount Tire was easy to work with and more than fair on the pricing. Thanks!!!

Love the skinnies over my 285 BFGs

 

Are the skinnies as tall as the 285’s? I know on other brands i’ve seen where the 285’s are taller even though the 255’s are showing to be taller on paper. Im looking to get the falken 255’s when i need new tires...

 

I never measured the 285/75 16 BFG tires, but the Falkens are just a hair under 33”.
This is the best photo comparison. The BFGs are on 16x9 (I think) -25 wheels, so stuck out much more. I also have a fully loaded truck with RTT in the pic, so take that into account.
