Waiting for delivery in Vancouver BC Canada

I’m still waiting for delivery of my 2021 TRD OR and the ETA keeps getting pushed back because of “COVID”.

Dealership says it finished production in Texas and needs to come to Canada (I’m from vancouver BC). Anyone have this issue?

should I ask about the 2022?

 

Did you get your temp VIN? If it was built you should have gotten this

 

I would just wait it out and you will get the 2021 fairly soon if its already out of production.

 

no VIN but they did show me their computer screen that showed the status change from “in production” to “in transit”.

 

Now, I can hardly wait. This will be epic. Congrats!

I ordered my truck from the Squamish dealer back in the beginning of June and it is currently in transit as well with an eta of Sept 15.

I guess they are just posting all the sold inventory - last week they had 12 Tacoma's on the lot waiting for delivery. Next to Sprinter vans Tacoma's are the most popular truck in Squamish

 

Yours should be soon, I guess around end of September or early October. Pretty sure yours is 2021 . I put deposit for a 2022, and was told eta Nov, I really doubt. Sales told me only luner rock is waiting long, other trims and colors are generally 2 to 3 months. Two weeks ago, there was a Cement ORP that would arrive in two weeks not sold. So technically, if I bought it, I would have it delivered now.

 

yeah its annoying they keep spamming Autotrader with SOLD inventory. i wish there was a request ban button lol
