    Remember when Toyota had cash back and rebates? It was only 2-2.5 years ago and there were an abundance of vehicles on the lot. Got my previous 2019 OR for $34,400. Boy do I miss the good ole days...

    I paid $34,500 otd for my new 2021 DCSB TRD OR 6mt 4x4 in May 2021. It wasn't on the lot and it took a while to get it.
    No trade, no financing and tax was included (we cap at $500 sales tax in SC).

    Pioneer CD, Megaloud/JBL amps, Rockford/Polk speakers.
    Granted I bought used and had a trade, but $200 a month was my payment...okay, $201 a month I lied. I took my sweet time paying it off too because a 0.9% loan isn't costing me as much.

    Though I see a lot of the logic you mentioned being applied in the purchase process, and then they don't stop buying the coffee anyways.
