Anyone else out there waiting on a taco delivery? Put my down payment down a few weeks back, today found out my delivery time would be 1st or 2nd of October. Pins and needles over here, and am debating if I register my old car for the rest of this month or risk it...

Can’t come soon enough, of course its a good distraction for a teacher just starting back tomorrow, which is, beyond my normal, going to be shit show :)

Yes! Just put down a deposit and awaiting delivery in the greater Seattle area. The delivery date range I was told was 9/11 - 9/16. Finger crossed it is accurate, however I have my doubts. I am ready to get out of Seattle!

@manncura - which part of the country are you located? I wouldn't be surprised if 10/1 is a more accurate estimation for mine as well :(

NE, nice! I am from Massachusetts originally. Seattle for the past 17 years but ready to get out!

Nearly the same exact situation. I put a deposit down on one that is "in transit" to the dealer. It was very difficult to find one on the lot with what I wanted. The story I was told was that manufacturing was delayed due to Covid.

Thanks for responding. You're not alone!

Similar boat. Dealer had my perfect truck on their website, Super White TRD OR MT and I went in on Labor Day and they told me it was on the way from the factory. Put my deposit down and was told "by the end of the month, but probably sooner." Already had a VIN and all so I was hoping "sooner" would be within a week or two weeks MAX. Checked in today because I'm impatient and was told it was looking like Sept 24-26... Gonna be a loooong two more weeks.

Been looking at all the mods I wanna do and started pricing them out... The wife is not impressed.

Maryland. I've seen a few posts saying their trucks were delivered to the mid Atlantic region in anywhere from 7 to 19 days. 19 days would be right on the nose for the 26th.

Im going out of town this weekend and I have a bad feeling Im going to get a call saying its in while Im at the airport to leave.

Nothing more fun than having to spend a saturday morning to replace a cv axle and front hub bearings on your 20 year old Buick that you have only two weeks left to drive :).

If that happens you could at least pick it up on your way home from the airport! Fingers crossed it’ll be closer to 7 days. Thanks for the response and safe travels.
