What's up guys? New member here from West Texas. We do quite a bit of wakeboarding in the summer down here and I'm wondering if anyone has ever attempted to use the Thule or Yakima Ski/snowboard racks to carry a wakeboard. On several websites, I've seen it advertised to be able to accommodate a wakeboard, however I've yet to see any proof! Let me know if you (or someone you know) has done this. Also pics would be muchly appreciated!

    Thanks everyone!

Right on. Thanks for the prompt reply. Which type of rack did you do this with?

Maybe if I purchase the one that is made for 4 snowboards I'll be able to fit two wakeboards...we shall see.

The yakima and thule racks are made for both skis and snowboards. I.E. The Big Powderhound.

So, I'm not sure how to reply to your input...

the yakima racks are all universal, I.E. Fat Cats and Powderhounds.
the thule racks are either universal or ski/snowboard specific, I.E. Flat Tops, Snowboard Carrier, Snow Cat, VS. the Ski Carrier

there are many other manufacturers out there that produce racks for Skiis and snowboards, or Just skiis, or Just snowboards.

If you did not know that some racks are designed strictly for skiis, I do appologize for not being more specific in my previous post.
