Count me in over here. ^That was the coolest looking photo I could steal of FB that makes me look better than I am haha. I need a new board to get any better I think... this one is just too little. The bindings absolutely kill my feet so I can't ride for more than like 10 minutes and no matter how hard I huck it I can't clear the wake. I'm thinking a little more surface area and a little more pop are in order :)

I haven't even been on the water yet. Every time I wanna ride I have to go find a boat

I'm thinking about buying a boat (Used) but I don't know a whole lot about wakeboarding. I know its something I want to get into... I love being out on the lake, but don't know that many ppl with boats....so it might as well be me with the ride ;)

anyone have advice on what type of boat to get? should I fork out the money and get a wakeboard boat or are there some good ski boats out there you can throw a tower on and get pretty good results with?

I started a thread like this but it was a plop. Used to do this a while back. Became not fun after a concussion and almost drowning, followed by getting dizzy driving to work for the next 4 months.

Nice hoochie glide. My cousin is working on that. I'm not quite there yet, but it looks fun. I just know I'd eat shit hard.

Get a malibu wakesetter. It gets all the bitches. Ours sucks gas like a mofo though. 80 gallon tank and 454 big block is rough on the pocketbook.

Thanks man. That trick isn't bad. I've been worked over way worse on others.

It's nowhere close to being easy. :D I suck at wakeboarding, but I love doing it.

I got worked when I tried a back roll last week. I didn't commit and bailed mid-trick so I landed on my back and knocked the wind out of myself. That called for a cold beer.

Do you go to Iowa State? I went to medical school at Des Moines University. Rode quite a bit on the river by wells fargo arena. Also went up to Fort Dodge to Twin Lakes and rode. Loved Wakefest and everything Stefan H has done up there. Miss that place.

Yes I do. Not involved in the wakeboard club though. I ride up in Minnesota at the family lake house.

Snowboarding is pretty foreign to me in Louisiana
