Does anybody know how I can put a winch on my truck without getting a new bumper or a full brush gaurd? I have seen some really nice near factory setups for jeeps. (Not just Wranglers) If you guys have any ideas, let me know. Thanks

    Warn Transformer.

You can get a reciever and mount it behind your factory bumper, I'll post the link to a thread on TTORA with the same set up if you like.

A bumper is your best bet.

I want it in the front though. I really don't want the bumper. They need a bull bar style support for a winch! You think it would be strong enough?

Here's the Warn Transformer. This is made for winching so its strong enough to handle the load, unlike most bullbars.

And here is a truck with a reciever built behind the bumper to hold a winch and the [IMG]

    And hell yeah, Go Gators!

I had one on my 97 tacoma. Just be careful with off-angle pulls. After 3 years of use, is was pretty tweaked.

I saw a thread about that on TTORA. I think it might be a photoshop though. Check out the image around where the fairlead is. It looks like its got a different resolution than the rest of the image.

I want it to be real though. It would be badass to have a hidden winch right there.

I think the location is poor. It would be underwater/mud everytime you needed it. P.S. I sent you an invite on Myspace so add me.
