forget all about the intake thing i am speaking of i am not sure how to properly explain it all and chris is most likely right that our tacos will not support that system. but ya i would look into the inectors at least..............but really you need to just save up some cash and get a s/c like he said....you would definatly like it.

so i guess SC, turbo, long tube headers, and a urd maf cal are my only options. im just tired of my friends with v8's and diesels stomping me.

Larger injectors will only flood the engine. AS it is, the AFR runs 11.5 to 1, up to about 12.3 to 1 WOT. Plenty of fueling going on there....

If you get the TRD SC, you dont need the URD maf calibrator, as it comes with new tuning of the computer. Unless you want to get an APR X-1 and spend some time on the dyno, you should be fine.

if you call up gadget you can have him program it to your specifications, but you will have to splice it into your ecu because toyota has not released the rights to the 09+ ecu harness.

I gotta agree. Unlees its a lowered Taco like a S-Runner or X-Runner, IMO no point to try and go fast in a lifted 4x4 or even just a 4x4 thats not a diesel JMO. I say just get a nice sounding exhaust and a AFE Pro Dry S filter.
