They are real. Needed a jack as a third hand to install. Check them out at 4 wheel parts Tacoma rock sliders by N fab try and get better picture tomorrow. Not sure about weight.

You painted them on the truck?? How’d you paint the back of the mounting plates?

Don't remember weight...and they were pricey, but I liked the fact they attach all the way front and back, 3 points in between with no over hang towards the wheels. Plus at least then, the lead time with all the other vendors was 6 weeks to 3 months which meant they would not be ready by the time my Son came home.

    By the way...Merry Christmas everyone.

Do they mount to the body or the frame? If they mount to the body or rocker panel they aren’t sliders.

I am liking the Caliraised. But, have you considered adding side steps? OK, I'm throwing topic this out because I personally don't like seeing a 4 wheeler all decked out for off road and then have steps hanging down - just waiting to get snagged on any off-road obstacle. Is there a reason for this other than being able to get into your mall crawler? Testing to see if my logic is wrong.

Sliders are obviously the best thing to do if you can use them as steps as well. I think the biggest problem is finding sliders that don’t weigh a ton. I’d consider selling my BAMF sliders (practically new) if I could find sliders that weigh half as much (80-90lbs total) that I could slap on some marine grade grip tape and also use them as steps.

These little 3rd gen engines don’t like a lot of added weight to stay economical. If mpgs aren’t a worry and the Taco isn’t a daily driver then sliders seem like a no-brainer.

I took my BAMFs off (180lbs worth) to test driving mpg comparison as well as just plain driving and I can tell the weight isn’t there...still need to do a week of commuting without to see real mpg change

No, they aren't sliders. But, I think people buy them for the look of sliders when, in fact, they have "trail hooks" hanging off of them.

I went with Hefty Fabworks. Extremely happy with mine and would suggest at least checking them out. Excellent quality

I like all the feedback. Seems like around 800.00 for powder coated sliders.
Anyone have some used ones for sale?

White Knuckle off road with powder coat about 700, not bad. Compared to what it would cost to repair rocker panel

I thought that too, but the owner said 92lbs apiece when he put them on the scale (including kickout)

They don’t feel 92lbs apiece, unless I’ve gotten stronger lol

Well that's a little misleading. They have a picture on the site that shows 62.5 lbs per slider on a scale
