Hey guys I just joined. First post. I have a 01 four door Prerunner 3.4 auto, I was browsing around here last night and saw I can convert it to 4 wd pretty easy. I was so excited I couldn't sleep. The truck is all stock and very clean, I love everything about it except it's not 4 wd. I'll keep looking for tips on here, if you know of any helpful links I'd appreciate it. One question I had is the trans, does my whole 2 wd trans have to come apart to change the output shaft or am I better to find a 4 wd trans? And for a daily driver should I go with lockouts or is the vacuum disconnect an easy and reliable option. This one won't see serious off-road. Thanks, Mike

    Mike,

Look in the "Solid Axle' category. Great stuff in there for ya'.

    Good luck.
