So, the stock fender/wheel-well sheet metal is giving up because of accidents in the past and rust. I'm looking to gradually move all components supported by these sheet metal areas. I might just go with round or angle structural steel. I'm thinking of starting with the battery since it's the heaviest of all components. Where should I relocate it to? Any ideas? I'm thinking of removing the evap and placing it there (custom bracket attached to firewall). Or on the opposite size close to the wiper motor...

Why why why and another why? I cut mine to sh1t for the solid axle. Other tacoma I solid axle never ran into it crumbling or falling apart. And I abused my trucks, hop around on trails and bounce them between rocks.

If you relocate, you have to rewire.

This might be the simplest solution to my problem.
