Got a question, are the front, rear and transfer case fill/drain plugs all the same thread and pitch? Figure if they are, I'd get three new magnetic plugs, non-mags for the fill, as my OEs are done.

There are some aftermarket ones of various sizes, but found a youtube vid where the OEM Toyota low profile is used (so rocks cannot be the cause of torquing one loose)- I believe our transfer case already uses this one. It works on trucks up to 94, hoping its the same for mine (2001).

Low Profile Magnetic drain plug: 90341-18021

Steel Differential Gasket for Axle housings: 12157-10010

Transfer case gasket (aluminum washer): 90430-18008

Yes I believe they are all the same. The YouTube video, also hints at the fact that other Toyota cars trannies use the same full/drain plugs.

Good to see a part number for the drain plug gasket.

Anyone know the size of the gasket? I'm always at the local parts store looking for the copper gasket, the guy behind the counter can never help.
