Check my build thread in my signature and note that I failed miserably at racing. Ended up with a cool truck but holy crap it's expensive.

Bring money. More money. No, more than that.

I was told it's better to buy something already built and improve on it but I wanted the experience of the build. If you want that route, bring more money.

Don't forget to buy/build a capable tow rig and trailer.

If you be interested, my truck's finally going up for sale this year along with the massive pile of spare parts. Trailer will be available as well, figuring I'll likely be meeting someone halfway across the country since the market's better out west vs here in NJ.

It's expensive to build something. Take the advice I didn't and buy something and use your truck for chase/tow duty.

All those warnings out of the way, you're in for some amazing life experiences if you follow through one way or the other.

That is the most fun and practical build plan/first time post I have seen yet! That is great idea! 2nd gens were made for that! Get it! Idk shit about baja but "terra crew" has some cool stuff on you tube.

It slays me that this existence has more than one of those, and I'm not one.

True that brother. The only million we gotta worry about is the million percent chance of getting hit by one of those lightning bolts.
