    For me that would kinda be pointless cause I have a AFE Cold Air intake and the air box is sealed and has a cover on it so it wont let any air in from the top, only thru the wheel well.

    Totally agree with you but it's also pointless for me because I still have the stock air box, I thought I saw someone with an exposed K&N, I'll be interested in that one.

    But again the oem scooped hood is also useless because it's not functional, but it sure changes the look of that front end!

    :thumbsup: same here! Just did it for the looks, i was only about $250 out of pocket with my RkSport hood, just paid to get it painted. The company used my truck to test fit and to grab some pics for their website.

    Sorry I meant to say I just spent $250 total which was for paint, hood was totally free.

    I can't find myself spending something close to 1k for a hood
