Wanted: climate control knob 2004

Reality is I only need the metal clip inside the control knob. Anyone have the means to help me out. I can't find a single salvage yard with the part in my area. Maybe I start looking on my business travels.

 

I pulled off my knobs when I changed the stereo out and I heard one of those little fuc#ers drop down behind the heater/vent assembly. Searched for it for weeks. Looked around salvage yards for months. Finally just wrapped the male end in duct tape to fit....works great. Good luck!
