    Nope. I tried too tho.

Snapped the line 4 times. Luckily it's synthetic line, unluckily it wasn't strong enough.

Ended up hiking a lot and eventually was able to get a guy with a tractor to pull me out. Only damage was scratches, small dents, and a broken cv axle.

    Lol thanks.

Definitely a learning experience. I'd like to hope I learned a lesson.

I went out at night with 2 friends and we didn't tell anyone where we were going. Went driving on a snowmobile trail. Did fine, turned around, headed home. Turned off the roof light bar for a second to see how dark it was out, caught some soft snow and it pulled the truck to the edge of the ditch. I thought I'd be able to just drive right out but as I hit the throttle the tires just spun and I slid all the way into the ditch. If I got out and assessed the situation at the start, maybe I would've hooked up the winch and been out of the ditch before I ended up all the way in it.

My winch line was rated way beyond what the winch is capable of pulling. It shouldn't of been able to break unless there was some sort of a defect.

Atleast with synthetic it just drops to the ground and can be tied back together for a quick fix, or spliced back together for a permanent fix.

Engo is also sending me a new winch line free of charge.
