    Hi everyone!

I want to join the Taco gang and have been looking for a tacoma 2015 Trd pro manual. (I know, I know, it's a unicorn.)

    So I actually found one.

2015 with inferno orange. It has only 31k miles in beautiful condition. One owner carfax.

What would you guys offer? It's at a stealership. They want 34k... (that's a new tacoma lol) although I honestly dont like the third gen and love the style of a 2nd gen. I could honestly only go as high at 28k. Otherwise at 34k I would just go hunting for a gladiator.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post!

Ya too much IMO, you can get a used gen 3 manual for 27-30k with way less miles.

I mean if you had to give a number what would you offer? The saleslady calls me everyday and last time i asked her what's the final price she dropped it down to 34k. I told her I'm interested just not at that price. I dont want to seem insulting by saying 28k. (6k lower.)

I know, I figured I would offer 28k but there at 34k and I dont want to seem rude by saying that.

My 2017 TRD OR had 26k miles, and i got them to 28k. Its a manual, i just had to do some searching and worked them down from 31,300. You prob have wiggle room, and no hurt in asking. Maybe work the dealer, maybe they are having a hard time selling it.

Your money, but I wouldn’t. Offer $29k and by the way car salesmen are the rudest people around.

You shouldn't feel rude for that offer. That's only 17% below their asking price. I got the same % off when I bought mine (asking 24, got it for 20). Just go look at it, tell them you want an overnight test drive. Drive it everywhere, make sure you like it. Take it back to them and tell them its "okay". And that you would be interested at 28k. If they say no, just walk out. I'm sure they'll be either chasing after you or calling you the next day.

My advice, FWIW, offer what you want to offer...what do you care if you offend the dealer?! They don't worry about offending people when they offer you $2k for a car clearly worth $8k when trading in.
I just bought a clean 2017 TRD OR, auto, 2WD, with only 25k miles for $24k. They had it listed higher, but i just told them my number...they said "no way, it's already a great price", yada yada...but i just waited them out. They texted a few days later...then a few days after that...i just kept saying i was in at 24...finally after about a week, they relented!
Basically, to get your low ball number you have to be willing to lose the truck. If you have to have THIS TRUCK (which is fine, if it's really what you want & it's super hard to find), then you need to offer something more "respectable".
    Good luck!

How did you even find that thing. That is the best tacoma ever made IMO. Not worth the price tag at $34 though. I'd pay $28k for sure. Let us know what happens.

I've been looking for this rare bird for about a year. Found one last month same color but the mileage at 70k priced at 27k. I was to late to offer and sold that day.
