I've had my Tacoma for almost a year and a half now and I'm looking into adding a few things for it. My Tacoma is a 2014 Prerunner Access Cab. I would like to get some running boards, a tonneau hard cover, a lift (not sure what size to go), and some black wheels and bigger tires. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look and find these for a reasonable price? Thanks for anyone who can help me!

Details man. Way too many variables, you need to narrow it down more vs being so vague. Have you decided what type of cover you want: hard, soft , folding. Or how large you want your tires, or how high a lift.

Where to look, well that would be on this forum, using the search function will lead you to the holy land.

In my opinion don't get running boards if you don't want sliders for off road use get some n fab tube steps off eBay or something can't help you with your tonneau cover but the lift is easy I reccomended a 3 inch and if you want no functionality off road it should be pretty cheap your looking at about 1k for the lift steps can be $300 and a tonneau cover depending on what you get can reach the 1k mark as well good luck with your upgrades and hope to see pics

I've been seeing 3inch lifts a lot in forums and was thinking that might be the best. I'm gonna look into the fab tube steps. Thanks!

Look through people's builds to see what you do and don't like. If you post those pics back here we can help you determine what you need. Someting like "Black wheels" leaves you a bajillion options with no definitive answers...could even be two bajillion

I will do so once I get home from work, I didn't really think about how ambiguous I made that sound.

Not a big deal. It's a big decision regardless of what route you go...Unless you like to change things up every week(@scottalot)

Then my advice would be to look at everybody's builds and just take your time.

Your build is real nice! I feel like taking my time would be the most beneficial thing to do.

The OEM one is great, have your dealer price match one you find on the internet. Should be 80 beans +/-

Just like jimbo I got the OEM for like 80 or so. Fits perfect, not too thick it's just about right ( that's what she said). Other dudes on here went to tractor supply and cut theirs to fit. If you got the coin go with the oem, but the other route is just as good.

    Same as everybody else...
I like what you did to your wheels. Did you have them painted professionally? What color are they and if you don't mind me asking about the cost. I have the crappy chrome color caps and like the look of the "Y" off road wheels. I like the way yours look.
