Well, went to King of the Hammers and someone wanted my Meso BD5-NMO mount more than I did I guess (or at least the lights since they broke it off)…..so I am looking for a BD5 with the NMO antenna mount. If you have one or know of someone, please let me know! Thanks all - below is the pic of the mount I am looking for….

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I'll take your BD4-NMO if OP doesn't. No pics needed. Hell, I'll even come pick it up and I don't get to say that very often (being a "Third Coast-er").

Sadly it seems like you can’t go to any event without some idiot stealing something from you.

I got to ask is that thing plastic? Two reasons the NMO needs a ground both ends and up that high is asking for it to be broken off if it is. All 3 of my antennas are mounted to the bed rails inside of the bed two with aluminum angle iron and the screw drive HF is mounted to the tail gate post with a ball mount.

Thanks for the shout out @cencal_taco ! And for everyone to know, this is how cool @MESO is - he did reach out to me and told me no guarantees, but he was going in to look around to see if there was one laying around somewhere by chance. There may or may not be, but this is the reason right there why so many people support @MESO - not only do they produce amazing products, they from day one have always had amazing customer service and have kept that personal connection!

@Ruminator feel free to snag it if @ksimms92 lists their BD4. I liked the BD5 setup I had and I am sure at some point I should be able to find one somewhere somehow!

Yep. Meso Customs should be a model for the way all companies should be run. He had gone way beyond what I would have expected to help me too.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
It's a good spot for an antenna for the ground plane effect, it's a bad spot for getting broken off and it's difficult to reach to remove the rod if you can't climb up in the bed (I've got a hard tonneau). You're right, you need a good ground at the antenna. I would look into using copper braid or thin copper sheet from the bottom of the NMO mount to the nearest chassis screw, like one (or both) of the light mounting screws.

Of course on my F-250 I have front and rear cameras, but was waiting on my Switch-Pro to wire up the cameras along with some other stuff……lesson learned!

Good morning all, thought I would update the post. As all of you know, @MESO is about as standup a company as you can get! They reached out to me and told me they would see if they could find one in the shop. Well everything must have aligned as I got an email from them letting me know they looked everywhere in their shop and luckily for me, they DID stumble across one! I happily paid them for it and should have it soon enough.

I think everyone on here knows the amazing work and attention to detail @MESO does for all of us to add some sweet products to our Taco's. It is becoming more and more rare to find companies that not only do amazing work, but also genuinely care for their customer base. @MESO is one of those companies! Thank you all for your input and help and as soon as I get the mount and the new @Baja Designs lights, I'll be sure to post up some pics!

    Happy Friday ya'll!
