I appreciate the feedback good or bad, I’ve just always liked big trucks and in a way am trying to make my taco something it’s not. Don’t get me wrong it’s a “big truck” the way it sits and it serves me well on and off road. I would just love to add alittle more

Your truck looks bad ass already. Maybe try putting 36s on it if your 35s dont rub. If you go to 37 I'm pretty sure you'll tear up an axle, steering rack, wheel bearings and you'll probably want to regear on top of spending a ton on getting a lift that big and it not vibrating. I think I'm 6 or 7 years older than you and I was about that age when i put all the lift stuff on my truck and now I regret it. Would take it off but im lazy and to cheap to pay a shop to mess it up.I'd really hate to know I spent 5000 or more dollars on lift for a daily driver and after a few years didnt like it. If you want a to really trick out a truck do it to something you dont plan fo drive out of state or load grocerys into every week. Maybe a jeep or a 90s z71. They have tons of accessories for them and you wont be chopping up your new 30k truck
But if you want to make your Tacoma that big I'd spend a little more and put a solid axle Dana 60 or something up front. Oh and if you want to do something to your truck dont listen to the people here, its your truck that you bought so whatever you want even if that's putting a 16 lift and 44s on it. Your the one paying for it. But if you do get 44 get boggers or ground hawgs because everything else is for mall crawlers

 

Pretty sure only one 3rd gen is worthy of being on 40s

One time when I had e rated 35s one my 3800 pound Tacoma, I hurt my back, I wasnt crippled but it was sore for a solid month. I felt every single pothole in the road and dreaded having to get out and would try to very gingerly climb down out without jumping.
It would have been really nice driving something else then
My dad has a 5 lug and that's what we do all the heavy hauling with if we have to something that weighs more than about 100 pounds. Its alot easier to put something in the bed when the tailgate is only 2 feet off the ground vs 4.5 feet.

 

Is this the style there? I was thinking this was Texas or Hawaii

 

My dick is mesmerizingly small, and my wheels are ugly. But I went through the taco phase and went right back to my brodozing. Don’t make the taco something it isn’t. I can’t even imagine how painful it is driving a taco on 35s

Don't fuck with it. Your truck looks great. If you go bigger you'll be in to monster truck look with massive tires and a small cab/bed

 

probably as easy as driving a full size on 35s, as long as you have 529s in both diffs, lol
