wanting to install bilstein 5100's on my taco..

    hey man, i really appreciate all the help. im relatively familiar with the 5100s now, and since i wouldnt need to upgrade my rear coils if i add a 1.5 aal and 5100s, then ill be good. now its all up to if i can find a shop to do it. lol. thanks again bro, i really appreciate it!

    no problem man, and when you're researching, your rear shocks arent "coils", youve got leafs and struts/shocks back there, just the coils and struts are up front, just a technicality that might make it easier for you in your searches haha

    I have an 08 and asked about the TSB and they told me it was just a pad they Added between the leafs to make them less squeaky. Lol damn dealership

    265/75/16 Firestone Destination A/T, Trd or wheels, Bilstien 5100's all the way around set at .85 in the front Comming soon LC Engineering header, avid light bar, lights
    I have my Billy's on order now. They will be here hopefully by the end of the week. I am going back and forth between .85 or 1.75 I want the truck to be level also.

    I just got my Taco Saturday,

    Going from wild Jeeps to a mild Taco for a daily driver now.

    Added billies all the way around brought the nose up to level set at the second setting from the bottom which I believe is 1.75. I'm happy with the results. Went to the dealer paid $450.00 that was for front, rear, alignment and a rental car for the day. Paid a little more at the dealer but I figured they now the vehicle and if there were any issuers down the road they would stand behind there work b4 some independent shops would.

    Op where are you located? I'm in Marin county and have access to a shop, spring compressor, lift, all tools. Will be able to help you, just send me a pm. Did this last year on my Tacoma and putting coilovers on my Tacoma too, also have many professionals in the shop that can help. Let me know
