    Dude, I told you!

It's such a good story about how subtly everything shifted toward Slaanesh until, BAM, full on murder-orgy metal symphony. I feel like that book has some of the darkest moments in the early HH. Literal madness and debauchery.

Oh buddy, get ready for the "Alpharius/ Omegon are still loyal" discussion. We can have that discussion here if you'd like

I believe that they knew exactly what they were doing after they realized that they were mislead originally.

Does anybody want to talk about how the Navigators are basically hand selected chaos mutants?

Chaos is like the Spanish Inquisition. Nobody ever suspects it until it's too late.

Anybody play any of the Warhammer games? (besides table top) I've been playing Inquisitor Martyr for about 2 years and have a shit ton of toons. I like it because unlike raiding you can play for 15 minutes or 15 hours. It's up to you. The game has it's flaws but it's fun. I'm mainly a sword and board tank because I like to look into my enemies dying eyes. For the Emporer!

I haven't, but I've always liked the cutscenes. The deluxe version is like $20 right now, I might buy it. Is the core content enough to enjoy in single player? How is the PVP? Isn't the game billed as an action-RPG?

It's a fun game. Like I said you can do a 15 minute game or grind for 15 hours. You fight all manner of Xenos from Chaos to Aeldari to Mechanicum. Basic classes are Psyker, Assassin and Crusader. And get to choose several levels of difficulty. Full game gives you Mechanicum as a class and ads to the storyline. I haven't done pvp yet as I got tired of it in my last game Mechwarrior (which is aslo fun btw). And steam has it for like 75% off right now.

I have more good book recommendations for my Grimdarkians!

The Fabius Bile books are totally worth reading. I'm almost finished with the second one and I'm really happy with the story and writing. Fabius is low-key super interesting.

AND they drop a bombshell about one of the forgotten legions! It didn't say which legion, but there is a comment made about how one of the forgotten Primarchs was definitely messing around in a Necron monolith at one point. So, the plot thickens.

@Mister Grey there are actually three Fabius Bile books and I'd recommend them if you want to dip into the traitor marine side of the stories much later after the heresy.
