Warming up your 3rd gen for winter driving

    Guess I'll be the first to fess up. I let my truck warm up for like 10-15 minutes. Sometimes longer

    My 18 takes quite a bit longer than my 05 did. Hop in my wife's rav4 and it's blowing warm air in 3-4 minutes. The Tacoma is 8-9 minutes similar conditions. I'm sure it's because it holds a lot more oil.

    Ten minute commute and I'm barely ever warm when pulling up to the office during the really cold stretches.
