    Looking for some Feedback.

I recently purchased at a very good price, a Warn Zeon 10-S Platnium, with intent to install it with an SSO Slimeline Hybrid bumper. I do not intend on cutting the support brace that helps hold the bumper, so I bought the remote mount for this Winch.

Are there any recommendations for those who have installed before me, locations to mount the solenoid remotely, or maybe a picture of where y'all may have installed before? Just trying to get good ideas of locations that may be more ideal over another.

Thanks in advance for any assistance :)

I used some aluminum C-channel and make a bracket.

Let's see some other remote mounts? Any that don't obstruct the radiator fan flow?

I mounted mine on the drivers side behind the battery. Fit like a glove, but my truck is a 2014 (not sure about a 3rd gen). Also I bought the non-platinum, so had to run the remote plug into the cabin... mounting in the engine compartment behind battery just got me this much closer for the remote plug mount.

I seem to recall SSO also sells the Platinum. Maybe that have some ideas based on selling that bumper? I'd be interested in whatever you find out from them or anyone else.

My temporary solution is looking like this (ignore the power and ground leads zip-tied to the frame, haha). Yes, that is a ski strap wrapped around the fuse and relay enclosure. Winch is Warn VR-10S. I also have an idea for a bracket mount by the power steering fluid reservoir... has anyone else done that?

Mounted control box on alum hollow bar stock. Does not restrict airflow more than stock because its behind the bumper.

I built and installed a proper bracket about a year ago and never posted. It's about 18" of aluminum U channel, along with the bracket from WARN for remote mounting.
