Warning about aftermarket keyless entry

I got an unchipped key cut for my tailgate last week.... $2.50 at Canadian tire.... It did not fit right away, but I filed a little here and there and I've now got a second T-Gate key for not much, .... also...it does not have all that damn plastic on the butt end to fill your pocket.... I even filed the "fat" part of the key off so it looks like a knife blade and it fits nicely in my pocket now...
