They were on sale on Kijiji a month ago. One of Core's customers parts that he is parting. The front shocks are custom made for long travel suspension only, they will not work with stock suspension. I almost bought them before Core started selling them. I believe it is for a +2 or +3.5 LT kit.

One rumour I heard was that the yellow FJ was built with customers money. Basically he was taking a shit load of orders to make sliders, racks etc for people but instead putting it into that FJ as a show vehicle. Was basically planning on having it be a show of what he can do and then get big and sell a lot to make up for it. But back fired and people wanted their money back.

Mind you I've also heard stories from two on OF4 that they never got all their money back, upwards of $2500 each that they never got back.

Thing is why would people lie about it? I've asked him about them before and he says they're full of shit. But really why would someone go out of their way to lie to strangers? And considering how many he seems to be fucking over clearly it can't all be lies.

    lucky you, seriously.
    Terrible to hear dude.

Should show this thread to all the other mods on true north and maybe post it?
From what I've heard/seen its all cheap crappy knock offs nothing actually made with quality. Cuts corners etc. Where all the other vendors for sliders put bracing/gussets in to strengthen it he doesn't.

I've heard so many horror stories, like one was he had a guys truck cause he bought fiberglass fenders from the US and Nathan was going to try and copy them. Well when the guy got his truck back the fenders no longer lined up, making it seem like they were Nathans knock offs and he kept the originals to try and copy more. Also claimed the new scratch on the bed fender was from golf clubs that got knocked over in the garage, and the dent in the door was his wife backed into it by accident but he'll pay to repair it and never did. Same truck which was brand new when it got to nathan came back with more mileage than it left with and not like little stuff moving it around the building, and trail marks like pin striping and scratches to the under body. This was a brand new truck as the story goes, so from the sounds of it he basically took a customers truck off roading.

Thought they were only for mid travel? Icon never made anything LT from what I understand.
Besides with Icons rep who the fuck would want it lol.

Go with the industry standard, Fox and Kings. Or Radflo

Those might be the Icons he was asking if I wanted weeks ago. He said they came off an FJ.
When I went to see him at his house, He had a black FJ in the garage that had damaged front end and it came off there he told me.

lol if thats the case I wouldn't really believe it too much. Could just be bullshit from Nathan to try and sell them.

Besides if they are used I'd want to know how much milage they have on them. its remote reservoir so they'd need a rebuild eventually.
If they've come off around that point they need a rebuild first and recharge of nitrogen.

And why would you want a first run of a company that seems to have a unreliable rep for LT?
Not so much directed to you just saying doesn't seem like a smart buy.

I looked at Icon before buying my fox and after seeing review after review of leaking reservoirs and their terrible customer service fuck that.

And if you're doing long travel need to consider, new axles, new fenders to allow for width and up travel, uppers and lower control arms, bye bye sway bar, and going to need to gusset a lot of stuff. And at the price he has them posted for its not far behind just getting a brand new set of Kings or Fox.

I can tell you this much those front coils seem like pretty large springs but might just be a bigger spring for more load. but those rears are far from LT lol. Fuck they're shorter than my mid travel ones

And if I remember right FJ suspension parts are not interchangeable with Taco

    I'm not sure.
there's one mod Timothy who seems to be friends with him or something cause he's constantly tagging him in post where people are asking for parts lol.

Not sure if he's just trying to help out nate and doesn't know or he knows and doesn't care lol.
    Maybe @Theicemedic could tell.

But I have seen post about him in there but he always jumps in trying to bullshit his way out of it.
