I'm trying to help anyone else out there who needs info. Now that it looks like he's running and hiding, it may be harder to get in touch with him.
An honest and hard working person would never do what he's done. The only people that do this are the lowest level of human that exists.

This is for you Nate. For all the times you have told me and everyone else that you would make it right, then make it right. Don't run and hide. Even if you consider bankruptcy, you still owe honest hard working individuals the money you stole. Saying the business is bankrupt doesn't excuse you. Saying you are bankrupt makes you a weasel, liar and a coward. I don't have any faith that you will ever pay anyone back, it's who you have become. What do you think your kids would say if they knew you stole $25,000? Would you teach them to steal $25,000?
Be a man and owe up to your wrongs. Fix them instead of running. Start communicating to people instead of making excuses and ignoring calls and messages like you do because you can't be bothered.
I don't know if you remember but when you started going awol and not responding and I discovered what you had been up to with others, I told you that you will not walk away free with my money and I meant it.
However form this takes with the law, you are not walking away with my money Nate. I would rather spend all the money you owe me just to make sure it's not yours. You don't deserve it douchbag!

If anyone needs info just PM me

Further to the comment above; bankruptcy is specific legal term, not something you just say you are when you don't have money to pay you debts. If CORE outfitters is actually bankrupt, a licensed Trustee in bankruptcy is appointed to handle the case and the process of settlement is out of CORE's control.

Hello everyone. I am a new member due to seeing a posting about core outfitters. I have had experience dealing with this company and I can tell you it was very stressful. I had ordered a roof top tent before summer in hopes of using on a road trip I had planned. After constantly messaging for an update for 6 months straight with endless ignored messages and faulse promises I was informed that core could not get the tent. After a few months of asking for my money back I finally found myself taking a set of his roof racks and ditch light brackets with pods as payment. No the items were not worth the $1000 I had payed for the roof top tent, but I felt it was the best I was going to get as a return on my money. After meeting nathan, I found him as a really good guy but he is very pour business owner. I would not do business again unless it was in person with product in hand. Also sorry if I am now sporting someone's roof racks he might of owed. Hope all you get something in return or your money back. Cheers!

Thank you for the review! Glad you got something in return. I got screwed in the group buy for the tents. I got refunded, but I know that some are still waiting.

I've heard this 'he's not a bad guy' numerous times now. The guys from true north Tacoma would say the same.

But really to pull this he is far from a good guy.
You don't screw people out of $1000s and remain a good guy.
He may have started with good intensions but they aren't there anymore. Hes nothing but a piece of shit now.
And like mentioned above will make people cautious about supporting a new company or small company. He could have corrected this by being forward about it with people. Instead he hides and continues to take people's hard earned money to repay others he's already screwed over.

Whether he gets another job, gets a line of credit or gets debt counseling, a good person would sort out this issue and not just continue taking money to repay others.

Let's be clear this isn't an issue with him not delivering stuff he's making, he doesn't even deliver on products he claims he carries like crazy Beaver shovels, treds, or any of the stuff he 'sells' on his website. And when asked why it hasn't shipped gives bullshit excuses like 'website stock is wrong' or 'it will be here next week' when really he'll never be getting it because he's not even a distributor of said products.

It's crazy.. I was going to order one of his racks. I met up with Peter to buy his bed mat, and noticed the rack on his truck, upon asking about it he warned me about core.. Really saved me a lot of trouble.

Just trying to save people the trouble. Figured their hard earned dollars could be spent elsewhere.

For what it's worth, and i know it's more expensive to buy and ship than CORE's copy-cat version, the original Prinsu stuff is good quality. There are still options.

    Yep.
I had to deal with all of Nathan's shit over a $700 order. Don't want to see others need to deal with that garbage either. So I earn everyone I can

Yeah for sure. When I'm ready to order I'll be getting the Prinsu from Overland Outfitters in B.C.

for what its worth, shopify are equally as useless and just as much of a bunch of cunts.
when I had my run in with our little buddy I contacted shopify and they basically in so few of words said 'I dont give a fuck leave me alone'

meh, I told them the situation and filed a complaint against core. They just said 'we don't have any control over those that sell on our system, you should contact your credit card provider'

It was nice to know they do not care that someone is basically operating a scam through their services.
